Feasting on grasses, buds, fungus and other plant life, chipmunks can be seen all over the Yukon and spend much of the fall stock piling food for the winter months.
A pair of gophers pop out of their hiding place. These burrowing rodents are numerous in Yukon and can be spotted along the highways and roads throughout the territory.
